The number of businesses and the quality of logistics services are increasing, making a significant contribution to bringing the result of import and export of goods to the highest level ever of more than 732 billion USD, up 9.5% compared to the previous year in 2021.
However, Vietnam's logistics industry still has many weaknesses that need to be overcome such as high costs; a lack of linkage between logistics service enterprises with each other and production, trading, and import-export enterprises; The scale and financial potential of Vietnamese logistics enterprises are still weak, and the going to foreign markets is still insignificant.
Currently, Vietnamese enterprises have clearly seen the weaknesses as well as the development potential of the logistics sector and are stepping up investment and innovation to meet the requirements of the market.
