Quang Tri solves problems in deploying VND 2,000 billion logistics and logistics service center

Logistics and logistics service center project in Southeast economic zone is invested by ICD Southeast Joint Stock Company. The project is deployed in Hai Que commune, Hai Lang district with an area of ​​70.74ha, total investment up to more than 2,000 billion.

The operational objective of the project is port logistics and logistics services. In which, building a system of warehouses and goods storage; direct support services for waterway and road transport; other ancillary works to meet the delivery, storage, import and export, loading and unloading, transportation,... goods through the center are about 10-12 million tons/year.

The center is expected to support the My Thuy port project when operating and attract more investment projects in the Southeast region of Quang Tri. Since then, creating many jobs for the people here, promoting the economic development of the province in particular and improving the logistics efficiency index of Vietnam in general.

From the issues raised by the ICD investor, Mr. Ha Sy Dong said that dividing the project into component projects is not feasible and suggested that the investor side and relevant departments and agencies study the plan to amend the dossier in accordance with the competence to appraise the project feasibility study report; assigned the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to assume the prime responsibility for, guide and coordinate with relevant units within its competence to assist investors in solving problems for early project implementation.
