Quang Tri considers pouring 175,000 billion VND into building an energy center

Investors expect the province to consider introducing some other convenient locations based on the location selection criteria stated in the report, especially agricultural and aquaculture lands. can combine solar power to survey and recommend the most suitable location, as well as backup for future expansion.

In addition, the partners hope that Quang Tri province can consider supporting and have preferential policies for investors according to regulations for green and clean energy projects, consider reporting to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. , the Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant ministries and branches shall appraise and submit to the Prime Minister for approval.

Accordingly, the estimated capacity scale of plants under the Hai Lang Green Hydro Center Project includes 3 phases:

- Phase 1: the scale of solar power capacity is 700 MWp, 300 MW of wind power and 193,000 tons of NH2/year.

- Phase 2: 1,800 MWp of solar power, 700 MW of wind power and 465,000 tons of NH2/year.

- Phase 3: 1,800 MWp of solar power, 700 MW of wind power and 82,000 tons of liquid H2/year.

Total investment in 3 phases is expected to be more than 175,600 billion VND, of which phase 1 is more than 31,300 billion VND.

The combination of renewable energy development with high-tech agricultural production or animal husbandry and aquaculture will contribute to improving the efficiency of agricultural land use, creating job opportunities, developing local transportation, improve infrastructure for residential communities…

At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong said that investors' proposal to build a Green Hydro Center is in line with the policy of developing Quang Tri province to become an energy center of the Central region. as well as investment conditions in the energy sector in the province.

To implement the next steps, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee suggested investors continue to research, survey and have specific reports for the province to consider granting investment policies in the near future. The province will have preferential mechanisms and policies and create all favorable conditions for investors in the process of researching and implementing the project.
