Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee has just approved the Department of Industry and Trade proposal related to LRSC Wind Energy Company Limited (referred to as LRSC Company) to approach research, survey, and install wind measuring poles in the area Song Cau town.

Accordingly, Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee allowed LRSC Company to install 2 wind measuring columns in Xuan Thinh and Xuan Phuong communes, Song Cau town to collect data and assess wind potential in the surrounding area; time for data collection is 12 consecutive months (from the completion of the installation of the anemometer).

Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee also requested LRSC Company to install wind measuring poles only after obtaining written approval of the static altitude from the Operations Department (under the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army).

In addition, LRSC Company, when conducting surveys and installing anemometer poles, must ensure that the location of the wind measuring bar is located outside the commune centers and residential areas; do not use natural forest land, protection forests, special-use forests, defense land, and rural land; avoid duplication with projects and planning already approved by competent authorities; ensure security and order, protect the environment.

It is known that LRSC Company conducts research and survey of wind power projects with an area of ​​about 848.32 hectares. This area belongs to the communes of Xuan Binh, Xuan Canh, Xuan Thinh, Xuan Phuong and Xuan Lam of Song Cau town (Phu Yen province). The estimated capacity of the project is about 100MW.
