Dong Nai and Binh Duong are two provinces located in the southern key economic region. Due to natural conditions, the two provinces are separated by Dong Nai and Be rivers, so the circulation between the two provinces is currently through Dong Nai bridge (National Highway 1), Hoa An bridge (National highway 1K), Thu bridge, etc. The border on Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City. However, the location of the bridges is quite far apart, creating a traffic separation, and affecting the economic and commercial development of the region.

Although it is a bordering area, up to now, regional connectivity between Dong Nai and Binh Duong still faces many difficulties and limitations. Therefore, earlier on July 27, leaders of the two localities also had a working session on the progress of implementing traffic connection projects between the two provinces.
