FECON cooperates with Corio Generation to develop wind power in Vung Tau

On June 22, 2022, FECON signed a co-development agreement with Corio Generation - a global offshore wind power enterprise, which currently owns one of the investment portfolios for offshore wind power development. the world's largest offshore, more than 20GW. The two sides signed an agreement to jointly develop a wind power project in Vung Tau.

The wind power project in Vung Tau has a capacity of 500MW, 25-30km from the coast. This project is expected to become one of the largest offshore wind power projects in Vietnam after being licensed and approved. Once put into operation, the project can provide up to 1,250 GWh of clean electricity, helping to reduce more than 600,000 tons of carbon emissions per year.
