Specifically, there are 8 onshore wind power projects including My An wind power plant (50 MW), HCG Hoai Nhon (150 MW), Phu My (125 MW), My Chanh (100 MW), Hon Doi (50 MW) MW), My Duc (100 MW), Van Canh Binh Dinh (150 MW) and Vinh Thuan (137 MW).

7 offshore wind power projects include offshore wind power plants Binh Dinh 1, 2 (each plant has a capacity of 300 MW), Binh Dinh 3 (2,000 MW), Nhon Ly (1,000 MW); PNE (2,000 MW); My An (1,000 MW) and Binh Dinh (2,000 MW).

According to Power Plan 8 approved on May 15, the structure of Vietnam's power source will have many changes in the direction of prioritizing the development of renewable energy, clean energy; reduce and ultimately eliminate coal-fired power. Oriented to 2030, the total capacity of power plants serving domestic demand is 150,489 MW, excluding export, existing rooftop solar power, and renewable energy to produce new energy.
