Ben Tre put into operation a part of wind power plant of VND 6,000 billion

Wind power project No. 5 Thanh Hai has a total investment of VND 6,000 billion with 4 factories (Thanh Hai 1 factory and a part of Thanh Hai 2 factory are being put into operation). As expected, Thanh Hai 3 and 4 factories will be completed in the third and fourth quarters.

On July 1, the wind power plant project No. 5 Thanh Hai (Thanh Phu district, Ben Tre) inaugurated phase 1 with a capacity of 30MW.

The project consists of 2 phases. Phase 1 has a capacity of 30MW, phase 2 has a capacity of 90MW with a total investment of 6,000 billion VND.

Wind power plant No. 5 will have 4 plants with 28 turbines. Currently, Thanh Hai 1 factory and a part of Thanh Hai 2 are being put into operation. Tan Hoan Cau Joint Stock Company - the project investor, is accelerating the progress of completing Thanh Hai 2 Factory, completing Thanh Hai 3 and 4 factories in the third and fourth quarters.

In addition to the 5th Thanh Hai wind power project, Ben Tre province has also proposed and approved 19 wind power projects with a total capacity of over 1,000 MW by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. With this number of wind power projects, up to now, the total installed capacity of wind power in Ben Tre is 270MW. In which, 4 wind power projects including No. 5 Thanh Hai wind power plant, V1-3 Ben Tre wind power plant, VPL Ben Tre wind power plant and Binh Dai wind power plant have been recognized for integrated power generation. the national grid is close to 100MW.
