Role Overview 
The Method Engineer (Automotive – Mechanical) is responsible for developing, calculating, and optimizing technical solutions for oversized and heavy cargo transportation in logistics projects. This role ensures that transportation solutions are feasible, safe, and cost-efficient, while closely coordinating with relevant departments to ensure effective execution in practice.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys, collect data, and develop loading and transportation plans tailored to project requirements

  • Calculate load capacity and select appropriate transport equipment (prime movers, trailers, specialized equipment)

  • Inspect and evaluate the technical condition of transport vehicles and related equipment

  • Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, method statements, and calculations

  • Develop detailed transportation plans (routes, schedules, execution methods)

  • Coordinate with operations teams, clients, and partners to implement solutions

  • Monitor and supervise technical aspects during on-site execution

  • Propose optimization solutions to improve efficiency and ensure project safety

  • Perform other technical tasks as assigned by management

Key Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, or related technical fields

  • Strong knowledge of transportation equipment, mechanics, structures, and relevant engineering principles

  • Ability to perform load calculations, develop technical methods, and read technical drawings

  • Experience in heavy-lift or oversized cargo projects is an advantage

  • Fresh graduates with strong technical background and interest in project logistics are encouraged to apply

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software

Working Time  
08:00 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning or as required based on project needs and management assignment)
