Role Overview  
The Head of Commercial is responsible for developing and executing the company’s business development activities in project logistics and heavy-lift transportation. This role plays a key part in expanding market presence, building strategic client and partner networks, and leading sales and marketing efforts to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
 
Key Responsibilities  
Business & Market Development

  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the company’s direction

  • Expand market presence and grow the client network in project logistics, heavy-lift transportation, and key industrial sectors

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly in oil & gas, energy, and heavy industries

  • Lead negotiations and finalize high-value contracts with clients and strategic partners
     

Commercial Management & Team Leadership

  • Manage and oversee departments within the Commercial Division, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service

  • Set business targets, revenue goals, and monitor departmental performance

  • Allocate resources and coordinate activities across teams to achieve revenue and market development objectives

  • Recruit, train, and develop the commercial team
     

Client Relationship & Service Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners

  • Oversee customer service activities to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction

  • Monitor contract execution and resolve issues arising during cooperation with clients


Logistics Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to develop logistics solutions for projects

  • Supervise project execution to ensure timelines, budgets, and client requirements are met

  • Manage commercial risks and handle issues arising during project implementation
     

Reporting & Business Analysis

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Commercial Division

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitors to propose suitable development strategies

  • Provide periodic reports to the Board of Directors on business performance and market opportunities

 

Key Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields

  • 8–10 years of experience in logistics, project cargo, or heavy-lift transportation

  • Proven experience in business management and market development

  • Experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects is preferred

  • Strong network within logistics/EPC sectors is an advantage
