Role overview
The Head of Safety (HSE) is responsible for overseeing all health, safety, and environmental activities across project operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement quality and safety control procedures for project cargo transportation and handling operations.
Conduct on-site safety supervision and perform regular inspections at project sites.
Deliver safety training and continuously reinforce HSE awareness for project personnel.
Manage and ensure compliance with safety certifications, permits, and licenses for personnel and equipment.
Identify risks, develop project safety plans, and respond promptly to emergency incidents.
Key experience & qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering (Bridge & Road), Transport & Handling, or related fields from recognized universities (e.g., University of Technology, University of Transport, Maritime University, or Technical Universities).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in safety/HSE roles within similar projects.
Relevant certifications in safety management, HSE, or occupational safety are required.
Solid understanding of applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Key competencies & skills
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good command of English (written and spoken).

Working Time
08:00 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning or as required based on project needs and management assignment)
