Nhon Trach 3,4 Power

Nhon Trach 3 & 4 is Vietnam’s first LNG-to-power plant complex, marking an important milestone in the country’s clean energy transition and national energy security strategy. PPL participated in providing logistics services for the project, handling customs clearance and transportation of more than 200,000 FT of imported cargo, including oversized and heavy equipment weighing up to over 450 tons for power plant construction.

Goals & Scope of Work

  • PPL provided logistics services for the Nhon Trach 3 & 4 LNG Power Plant Project, including customs clearance and transportation of more than 200,000 FT of imported cargo from BRVT/HCM port systems to the project site in Dong Nai Province.

  • The scope of work included transportation of containers, bulk cargo and oversized heavy equipment serving the construction of Vietnam’s first LNG power plant complex.

  • PPL also handled transportation and positioning of critical equipment such as transformers, generators and industrial components weighing up to over 450 tons per unit, meeting strict technical, safety and schedule requirements of the national-scale energy project.

  • The project further demonstrated PPL’s capability in energy logistics and heavy lift transportation for large-scale infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
