PPL reaches new heights with Top 10 ASEAN Top Brands 2025 recognition
Bao Tin Trading and Logistics One Member Limited Liability Company (PPL) has officially been honored as Top 10 ASEAN Top Brands 2025 – a significant milestone that not only affirms brand reputation but also recognizes its capability in executing some of the most complex oversized and heavy lift logistics projects in the region. The announcement ceremony took place on September 6 at Ben Thanh Theatre (Ho Chi Minh City), organized by the Vietnam Union of Science for Enterprise Development in collaboration with the Asia Economic Research Institute, as part of the series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of Vietnam’s accession to ASEAN and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

From its first shipments for the Formosa Ha Tinh project, PPL began its journey to establish a position in the oversized and heavy lift logistics sector in Vietnam. Over more than 11 years, this journey has continued to be marked by its recognition as Top 10 ASEAN Top Brands 2025 – a milestone affirming credibility, capability, and regional expansion aspirations.
The “ASEAN Top Brands Award 2025” organized by the Vietnam Union of Science for Enterprise Development in collaboration with the Asia Economic Research Institute recognizes outstanding enterprises in the ASEAN region that have made significant efforts in brand building, customer service, and contributions to sustainable community development. This year’s event also carries special significance as it is part of the activities commemorating the 30th anniversary of Vietnam joining ASEAN (1995–2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945–2025).
For PPL, the award is a well-deserved recognition of its continuous efforts to push the boundaries of the logistics industry. In just the past two years, the company has achieved a series of significant milestones. At the Greater Changhua 2B&4 offshore wind project (Taiwan), PPL completed the transportation and load-out of more than 800 units of non-breakbulk heavy cargo weighing from 350 to 2,387 tons per unit for 33 offshore wind turbine foundations, contributing to 9.7 million safe working hours of the entire project. This is also the first offshore wind project fabricated by a Vietnamese enterprise (PTSC), in which PPL acted as the transportation contractor.
Building on this success, PPL set a record at the TPC Offshore Wind Power Generation Phase II project (Taiwan) by transporting and launching a 3,200-ton foundation together with a nearly 4,000-ton topside (including the launching girder) entirely using a modern SPMT system. Previously, PPL also completed a series of 7 wind power projects in the Central and Central Highlands regions with nearly 200 sets of turbine blades during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, demonstrating resilience and flexibility under extreme conditions.

Not limited to renewable energy, PPL has also participated in key national infrastructure projects such as Nhon Trach 3 & 4 Thermal Power Plants, Tan Son Nhat T3 Terminal, and Long Thanh International Airport. These projects not only demonstrate high technical expertise but also reflect PPL’s commitment to promoting green transition and sustainable development in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Do Hoang Phuong – Chairman and CEO of PPL shared: “This award is a testament to the tireless efforts of all PPL staff, engineers, and workers, as well as the trust from our clients and partners. We have consistently invested in equipment, technology, and people to be ready to solve the most complex logistics challenges. With strong technical capabilities, PPL is gradually expanding international cooperation, continuing to support key energy and infrastructure projects, contributing to enhancing national logistics capacity and bringing Vietnamese brands to the global stage.”

From an industry perspective, this event once again affirms the increasingly important role of logistics in the process of integration and sustainable development. According to the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), the Vietnam logistics market is currently estimated at USD 40–42 billion, contributing approximately 14% of GDP, with an average growth rate of 14–16% per year. The ASEAN region is also emerging as a new global manufacturing hub, while targeting at least a 35% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in transport by 2030 – a key milestone in the Net Zero roadmap, according to the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
In this context, logistics enterprises with heavy lift and oversized cargo capabilities such as PPL play a critical role – not only ensuring the circulation of strategic goods but also directly supporting renewable energy and green infrastructure projects, contributing to the realization of sustainable development goals of Vietnam and the region.
