Goals & Scope of Work

The project aims to supplement wind power sources for the Northern Central Highlands region, supporting local economic development.

PPL was responsible for transporting 18 wind turbine towers from Phu My and Quy Nhon ports to the construction site.

Key Challenges

  1. The equipment was oversized and overweight, with the heaviest piece weighing 114 tons and the longest measuring 76.5 meters.
  2. The transportation distance was very long, 1,058 km, traversing many complex terrains.
  3. The deadline was tight, requiring coordination of multiple transportation routes from two different ports.

Solutions & Deployment

  1. PPL mobilizes a fleet of specialized vehicles meeting international standards, collaborates with partner CMEC, and develops detailed transportation plans for each route.
  2. A team of technicians continuously monitors the process, ensuring timely delivery and absolute safety throughout the more than 1,000 km journey.
