The Huong Linh 3–4 Wind Power Plant project was developed to enhance power supply for the Central region, reduce pressure on the national grid, and meet growing electricity demand. In addition, the project contributes to the effective utilization of renewable energy resources, supports socio-economic development in Huong Hoa mountainous district, and promotes sustainable growth in Quang Tri province.  

PPL’s scope of work included the transportation of oversized and heavy components such as nacelles, hubs, blades, and tower sections; coordination of specialized transport equipment along a route exceeding 200 km; and lifting and installation of equipment at site in accordance with project technical requirements .  

- Wind turbine components classified as oversized and heavy cargo, with large dimensions and weights of up to nearly 90 tons, requiring specialized transportation solutions   

- A transportation route of more than 200 km from Hon La Port to the project site, including mountainous terrain, steep gradients, sharp turning radii, and limited infrastructure conditions  

- Handling long components such as turbine blades, requiring precise maneuvering and traffic coordination along the entire route  

- A tight project schedule requiring close synchronization between transportation and installation to maintain overall construction progress   

With extensive experience in heavy-lift and oversized cargo transportation, along with strong relationships within the port system and a fleet of equipment meeting international standards (90% newly imported), Phuoc Phat Logistics Company Limited (PPL) successfully executed the transportation of all wind turbine components for the Huong Linh 3–4 project.  

In particular, PPL invested in and developed a dedicated storage yard for the project - a solution that few domestic logistics providers are capable of delivering - helping to optimize scheduling, enhance safety, and improve overall transportation efficiency .
